Job description

​

Zaheer Seedat is one of the cinematographers for the film Blood Feud. His responsibilities include creating the look of the film through the camera’s lens. During pre-production he works closely with the directors and technical department to create shot lists, story boards and the lighting plans.

 

Achievements/Qualifications

​

He has 3 years of work experience and is the founder of Zeus Media Productions. He has worked on several high ranking productions. Currently he has on month left of his three year BA motion picture medium degree.

 

Passion for film

​

His favourite part about filmmaking is being able to create an experience for an audience. There is no limit to his imagination and being able to share this is highly satisfactory.

For him filmmaking is not only about the result but mainly about the entire production process. Connecting with other people is full of surprises and sharing the experience of creating a film is magical. The collaborative nature allows everyone’s imagination to merge which results in a meaningful work of art.
