Job description

​

Fabian Kowalski is the Visual Effects supervisor and works on set and in post-production with the special effects for the film. He can create computer generated imagery to make something in a film look as if it was already there.

 

Achievements/Qualifications

Some of his work has appeared in some of the best films at AFDA and some of it he poured hours of work into to make it look professional.

 

Passion for film

​

None of what he does he takes lightly, his passion for his field of work lies in the idea that he wants people to look at his work and have a sense of wonder and excitement. As a kid he used to always love going to the cinema because whatever they watched, he did not care much for the deeper meaning but rather focused on the visuals. That’s where his love for making beautiful things started. He puts his soul into Visual Effects and lets the visuals tell another tale.

Personal Interests

​

He doesn’t only work behind the big screen, he also works on art in his spare time. He constantly improves his craft by making 3D designs of simple house objects and even work on grand designs such as airships and landscapes.

His favourite tv series has to be the Witcher on Netflix. He loves the world it creates and takes the folklore of his homeland in Poland and makes it into a true cinematic masterpiece
