Job description

​

Ben Armstrong is  one of the directors for Owl House Productions. He is involved in everything from creating the blueprint of the story up until mastering the final cut of the film, making creative decisions in collaboration with the crew.

Achievements/Qualifications

​

He is also the CEO at Aint No Stopping Now (PTY) LTD, a newly founded Production company. In 2018 he released his  debut single “Henny”, which became an instant success as it caught the attention of the masses on Twitter.  In July 2020 he released his second single “Once Upon a Time in 2020”, the song climbed all the way up where it charted at number 10 alongside global stars such as Beyoncé, Pop Smoke, Nicki Minaj and Asap Ferg.

 

Passion for film

He is very passionate about contributing to and shifting not just the South African but global film industry. Through his company he is passionate about creating employment and opportunities for the youth, especially those from less fortunate backgrounds.

Personal Interests

​

Aside from business and philanthropy he loves film. His favourite film being Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar and series being George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books adaptation “Game of Thrones”. He is very grateful for the opportunity and blessing of being a Film Director and storyteller and aspires to also create such meaningful and powerful narratives like those that changed his life.
